November 21 and 22, 2017 :

Meeting of affiliates and European launch of Global-Watch Network

On November 21 and 22, 2017, at the offices of the Quebec Delegation in Paris, with representatives of more than 40 Quebec and French companies in attendance, the first meeting of affiliates as well as the European launch of Global-Watch Network took place. Line Beauchamp, Delegate General of Quebec, spoke to highlight the importance of Global-Watch’s international and comprehensive vision.

Groupe Orange, Société Générale, Desjardins Group, Avril Group and CGI took part in a day of focused meetings in order to share their workplace health and well-being strategies and to discuss various issues related to the co-responsibility of managers and employees as agents for change and improvement in workplace health and well-being.

Over these two days, France St-Hilaire, Ph.D., who is the director of Groupe EOS at the Université de Sherbrooke and the scientific director of Global-Watch, presented scientific research results not only on matters related to the co-responsibility of employees, but also on various approaches aimed at putting into practice psychological health at work.

Also, a number of participants – Marie Langlade De Moyen, director, Social Responsibility at Work, Société Générale; Alain André, director, Health and Safety and Workplace Well-being, Groupe Orange; Laurence Breton-Kueny, DRH AFNOR, vice-president, ANDRH; Philippe Thurat, director, Workplace Well-being, AREVA; Réal Cassista, Desjardins Group; Tony Machado, Ph.D., manager, Health and Well-being, France, Luxembourg and Morocco, and Anne-Marie Lajoie, organizational health specialist, CGI Group – took part in a roundtable, featuring an open discussion with all participants on the theme “Converging views: Quebec and French employers on workplace health and well-being.”
