Companies are facing new work realities that can affect the mental health and well-being of employees. Strategies that meet the needs of employees and managers must be deployed to address this issue.

Video presentations are available for free, while the complete thematic dossier includes a reference guide and a practical tool for each topic. The contents of this thematic dossier present organizational initiatives to be deployed or management practices to be implemented in your companies to promote mental health and well-being at work.

In recent decades, technological advances have blurred the lines between work and workers’ personal lives. On one hand, technology allows organizations to meet employees’ requests for flexible schedules along with demanding expectations for instant customer service, while on the other hand, schedules and workplaces are less well defined than they may have been in the 20th century.

Workplace mental health is a responsibility that is shared by all stakeholders within an organization. While senior management, managers, human resources coordinators and employees may all have a role to play, we are seeing a growing interest in the role of colleagues. This role can sometimes be formalized through a peer support program.
