Presentation description
In a context where organizational transformations are multiplying (reorganizations driven by political and economic pressures, new technologies, shifting priorities) teams are required to adapt quickly, often in conditions of uncertainty. This reality places increasing pressure on employees’ mental health and their capacity to adapt.
When changes are frequent, overlapping, or poorly supported, they can lead to psychological fatigue, disengagement, team tensions, and a loss of direction, directly affecting performance and engagement.
Drawing on 78 scientific and grey literature references, as well as field-based practices from an international network of employers, this conference provides a clear and structured understanding of the links between organizational change and mental health. It highlights the mechanisms of change, its often underestimated impacts, and the early warning signs of distress that can be identified upstream.
Most importantly, it offers practical levers to better anticipate, support, and adjust transformations, helping preserve mental health, support teams, and make change a sustainable opportunity. It is a valuable opportunity to step back, better understand what is happening on the ground, and leave with actionable insights.
