Message from the president : Five years working to improve workplace mental health and well-being around the world in a sustainable way 

Five years ago, on January 24, 2018 we officially launched Global-Watch!Cocktail 5e anniversaire

We would like to take this opportunity to look back on a few highlights and especially to offer you our most sincere THANKS!

Global-Watch, a unique, innovative and highly appreciated formula

We made it our mission to Improve workplace mental health and well-being around the world in a sustainable way by helping you to maintain your knowledge at a high level and to incorporate good practices in workplace mental health and well-being in your way of working through communicating the science accessibly – something that is ingrained in our actions; by developing and making available robust tools for you to use; and by talking to other employers in the context of the community of practice.

This unique formula is now complemented, at your request, by strategic coaching when you feel the need, as well as thematic conferences for companies.

A constantly growing community of affiliated employers

A number of you have been with us since the very beginning. Since then, the Global-Watch community has only kept growing! It is with great pride and gratitude that we can share with you that our retention rate for our affiliates is over 95%, and more than half of you have renewed for 3 years or upgraded your membership level! Thank you so much for your commitment, which underlines the relevance of our work and your determination to improve, in a sustainable way, workplace mental health and well-being practices in your organizations. We are so pleased about this!

A strong network of scientific experts and collaborators

The Global-Watch team has also grown, and our close associates continue to use their various types of expertise so we can offer you high-quality tools and service. Global-Watch’s mission and the growing connections that we are building with you are what energize and inspire our entire team every day 😊.

I’d like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank them as well as the 115 academic experts from Canada and 7 other countries who have also worked with us to share good practices with you, starting with Professor France St-Hilaire from the Université de Sherbrooke, whose exemplary engagement has contributed significantly to making Global-Watch the reference when it comes to mental health and well-being in the workplace.

Many challenges remain in the area of mental health and well-being in the workplace

Issues related to workplace mental health and well-being are still very much present and, unfortunately, on the increase within companies. We all have a lot of work to do to limit their negative effects on both the human and the financial level.

With your support, and with a Global-Watch team that is fully dedicated to supporting you in your challenges and goals, we will continue to work by your side, and I am confident that together we will contribute to improving the health and well-being of colleagues and attaining your company’s objectives, all in a sustainable way.
