The Global-Watch team has worked tirelessly over the past year to design a new web platform that better meets the needs of all its users. This platform will enhance the user experience and offer new perspectives thanks to cutting-edge technology.
QUICK ACCESS
- Public website and client portal
- Revamped navigation menu
- Client portal dashboard
- Powerful search tool
- Administration panel
1- A public website and a client portal
Global-Watch is now segmenting its web platform into two distinct components: the public website and the client portal.
The public website will enable you to find out more about the products and services offered by the Global-Watch center of expertise.
By accessing the client portal, authorized users of Global-Watch affiliated employers will be able to view and download assigned content: toolkits, tool library, employer experiences, scientific interpretations and the community of practice activities.
Please note that all the new features presented below concern the client portal.
2- A completely redesigned menu for intuitive navigation
The client portal menu now makes it much easier to access the content you want, with pages clearly grouped into 3 main categories:
1. TOOLS
- Toolkits
- Tool library
Thematic dossiers, implementation guides, checklists, etc
2. SCIENCE POPULARIZATION
Scientific interpretations and expert videos
3- COMMUNITY OF PRACTICES
- Thematic working groups
- Global-Watch meeting and webinar
- Event reports
- Employer experiences
(Formerly employer testimonials)
3- A dashboard to centralize information on your allocated content
The dashboard is the home page of the client portal. For authorized users, this page provides quick access to relevant information:
- The latest content across all categories
- A section dedicated to important notifications (upcoming choice of toolkits, registration opening to Global-Watch events, etc.).
- Quick links to get you quickly to what you’re looking for
- List of toolkits allocated to you
- List of your working groups and upcoming sessions
4- A powerful search tool
The magnifying glass icon in the menu contains a powerful search tool for browsing all of Global-Watch content.
Simply use one of the three search methods to obtain the corresponding results.
-
Search by keyword
Select a keyword to view all content where it is identified. -
Search by text entry
Use a specific query to display all the content where it can be found. -
Search by theme
Global-Watch’s experts have categorized keywords to help authorized users find their way around all the keywords identified in the content. Categories will be added on an ongoing basis.
5- An administration panel dedicated to access managers
The administration panel is accessible only to the access manager, the person responsible for the employer affiliation.
Accessible by clicking on the icon of your name in the menu, the new administration panel not only presents all relevant contractual information but also offers features for managing your employer affiliation independently.
End of current annual cycle
The notion of “End of current annual cycle” is added to your corporate affiliation. On a contract that extends over more than one year, the end of the current annual cycle is the date on which you can allocate new toolkits to your authorized users, according to the number specified in your contract.
Adding and removing authorized users
It is now possible to request the removal and addition of authorized users. Make sure you always add the corporate e-mail address of the person to be added. It is always clearly indicated if you have unassigned licenses.
Manage toolkits accessible to authorized users
Depending on the level of affiliation, an affiliated employer can select a number of new toolkits to be allocated to all authorized users in the next annual cycle.
The toolkits section of the administration panel lets you consult the number of toolkits to be selected per annual cycle.
Please note that you can also select your toolkits in advance to speed up their allocation once the annual cycle has been renewed. A confirmation of the toolkit allocation request is then sent to the technical team to complete the allocation.
When a new toolkit is assigned, all authorized users receive an e-mail with the complete list of toolkits to which they have access.
Managing Thematic working groups
A section dedicated to Thematic working groups allows the access manager to consult the number of groups accessible under the contract, as well as the number of group(s) remaining to be selected.
This section clearly shows which groups authorized users are registered in.
You can use the management feature to send a request (add a group or add a user to a group). The request can then be processed by the Global-Watch team. You’ll receive a confirmation e-mail when it’s done.
