Fascinated as much by research and the scientific community as by people and their behavior in the workplace, Étienne has devoted his studies and professional career to bridging these two worlds.
Etienne Fouquet holds a bachelor's degree in psychology, a master's degree in business administration and a doctorate in organizational management, specializing in organizational behavior. His research in recent years has focused on the meaning of work, satisfaction and behaviors of new generations in organizations, particularly in their career trajectories. His thesis work proposes an identity model for younger generations at work, and explains their loyalty behaviors in terms of the dynamics between identity, emotions and mental health.
Over the past ten years, Étienne has also acted as a consultant and coach to numerous organizations. He has also developed recognized expertise in the management and governance of social economy enterprises.
Currently Content and Knowledge Transfer Lead at Global Watch, he directly supports the company's mission, which is to maintain a high level of knowledge and empower organizations to integrate best practices in mental health and well-being at work (MHWB) in a sustainable way.
Through its role, it gives companies concrete access to the most reliable and avant-garde scientific advances in the field of MHWB, by popularizing and incorporating often complex concepts into tools adapted to the realities and needs of workplaces.
Promoting mental health, satisfaction and meaning at work, understanding how well teams function at work and how to support them, are subjects on which he has acquired solid academic and practical knowledge, either through his PhD and his entire academic career, or through his projects carried out in corporate environments.
Aware of the abundance of information currently being disseminated on MHWB, he is keen to preserve the accuracy of scientific information through the design of practical tools, and has repeatedly demonstrated this ability through the projects he has carried out over the course of his career.
This is his mission: "To continue building the bridge between practice and research, while remaining true to my interests in mental health and well-being in the workplace.
Welcome Étienne!
